8:30 Morning Assembly-(Parents are welcome to attend)
*Morning Greeting in French, German, Spanish & Sign Language
*Neighborhood Academy “Welcome Song” (may be sung in any of our languages)
*Pledge of Allegiance
*Patriotic Song
*Students introduce their guests
*Morning Announcements
*Teachers stand up and share their “I AM MOST PROUD OF…” LIST - recognizing children for Good Behavior, Good Manners, or Academic Accomplishment from previous school day.
*A class may share a performance or accomplishment.
*Outside guests or Parents may share Show and Tell with our
students.
*Good Thought for the Day
*Dismissal in French, German, Spanish & Sign Language
8:50AM-Students are excused to their homerooms
Montessori (this includes outdoor gardening & playground time)
8:55AM-"10 Minute Circle Time" in each classroom
9:10AM-Montessori Curriculum & Computer Lab rotation begins
10:45AM-Student helpers assist Ms. Jamie to prep & serve
lunch
11AM-11:45AM -Lunch

1:30PM-Montessori Curriculum
2PM-Foreign Language (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday)

INFANTS - 12 MONTHS
Montessori Based Nursery
A certified Montessori teacher works daily in the nursery to
introduce Montessori to our babies.
One on one Montessori activities take place in the morning & again in the afternoon with each baby.
Never hesitate to ask caregivers what Montessori activities they
will be doing with the babies that day.
*Our caregiver/baby ratio is 4 to 1 in this nursery. We will only
accept 8 babies for our 2 caregivers.
*Webcams allow parents (& perhaps relatives who live far away) watch the infant on our secured website
*Frequent Diaper Changes take place throughout the day
*Caregivers in Casa dei Bambini I (6 weeks-12 months) keep with home schedules for feedings & sleep time
*Refrigerator is available in nursery for storing milk, formula or
baby food
*All babies are sent home with a daily report to help parents
monitor feedings and diaper activity.
*We will administer medication ONLY if parent has signed a consent form that day.
* Shake Rattle & Roll is offered to all infants for an additional $30.00/month and takes place every Wednesday.
*IMPORTANT: It is our policy that NO child
shall be left in our care or more than 10 hours per day. If
this becomes a regular occurrence, we have the right to terminate
your child's enrollment with no refund.
